Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) is the largest multidisciplinary research organization of the country. Scientists of the organization have been developed scientific processes for industrialization via entrepreneurs of the country from its initiation. Processes are leased out only to the qualified entrepreneurs for a certain period under some conditions. Eligibility of an entrepreneur is assessed by a team before leasing out a process for commercial production.

Premium money is fixed in open bid system. There is a decision of the board of BCSIR that minimum premium money for an individual process will be Tk. 60,000/-only.
